Building STAR will create at least 150,000 jobs in the construction and
manufacturing sectors, which have been hardest hit by the recent
economic collapse, by offering rebates for insulation, windows, roofs,
lighting, and heating and cooling equipment. Building STAR will not
only create jobs, but it will save Americans money while contributing to
U.S. energy independence and a cleaner environment.
